The area is known for its great scenic beauty, its picturesque hilltops villages and its pleasant climate. The villa’s location, with the Italian Riviera one hour to the south, and skiing one hour to the west, provides a climate of contrasting seasons, with hot Mediterranean summers and snow filled alpine winters. Springtime brings mild days, when the blossoms and fruit trees burst into bloom, whilst autumn provides a blaze of colour and signals the picking of the grapes from the numerous vineyards across the region. There are many truly excellent restaurants offering fantastic value for money in the villages and nearby spa town of Acqui Terme. The area should appeal to wine and food lovers and those wanting to be off the beaten track but somewhere that is easily accessible to all amenities.

The historic town of Acqui Terme has excellent shops, lidos and entertainment as well as being famous for its spa facilities. A local golf course is near too. With a car or by train you can visit the cities of Genoa, Milan, Turin, or even Nice.

A two to three hour drive you can be in Tuscany, Lake Garda, Florence, Venice, Lake Como etc. Less than 1 hours drive and you can visit Asti, Alba, Cuneo, Ligurian Coast for the beautiful beaches. For the casual skier there are several nursery and snowboarding slopes within an easy drive of the property and to the West of Turin many internationally renown ski resorts within two hours drive,including;Rucas di Bagnolo, Frabosa Soprana, Lurisia, Paesana-Pian Mune, Garessio 2000.
