Details of Accommodation and Grounds

Ground Floor

The main door opens from the courtyard to a small entrance hall, from where stairs lead to the accommodation on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a very spacious live-in country kitchen including fitted appliances including cooker, oven, dishwasher and fridge. The kitchen features an open fireplace and a beautiful, renovated vaulted brick ceiling that gives the room a lot of character. A door leads from the kitchen to the garden, and a second door leads to a pergola at the back of the house – a favourite shaded al fresco dining area, with beautiful views.

Adjacent to the kitchen, the spacious living room also has its original vaulted brick ceiling and an open fireplace.

The ground floor also includes a guest suite – with a spacious bathroom, a dressing room and a double.

First Floor

Stairs lead from the entrance hall to a landing and a corridor. Off this corridor are 4 spacious double bedrooms, each decorated in a different colour scheme, and all enjoying a stunning view over the garden, the vineyard and the open countryside to the south. The enormous master bedroom has an open fireplace. The first floor also has a shower room and a spacious bathroom with a stylish free-standing bath tub. A door at the end of the first floor corridor leads to a games room with a billiard table and a stylish pool lounge with double doors leading to an outside portico and the 12 metre rectangular swimming pool. The swimming pool can also be reached via stairs from the garden.

The Antique Cantina under the house is accessed from the courtyard: it has beautiful stone-vaulted ceilings in their original condition.

The south-facing grounds extend to about 3.8 Ha (9.5 acres) in total and include a mature landscaped garden, a spacious courtyard, a swimming pool, a vineyard and some woodland. The location is very private and secluded, without being remote.

The landscaped garden surrounding the house and the courtyard are enclosed by a fence, beyond which are located the remaining grounds and the vineyard. A special feature of the beautiful garden is a 300 year-old oak tree, which provides welcome shade during the summer: the garden also features a manicured lawn-area and ornamental flower beds that are well-stocked with roses, shrubs and smaller trees.
